This video documents the installation of Either / And, an animation by Evie Metz, on view in the True F. Luck Gallery in Richmond, Virginia from May 09 - June 15, 2025. The work is part of What We Share, an exhibition featuring pieces created during the Annual Residency at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond.Projected into the corner of the gallery, the animation follows a series of transforming bodies as they move across the seam where two walls converge. This liminal threshold becomes a metaphor for the emotional and spiritual flux we often experience in moments of crisis and transformation.
